ReInteract is not starting on Windows XP and Panda3D and F drive

I installed the python version Panda 1.6.1. (python 2.5.2) on my F drive.

Next, on my Windows XP computer, I downloaded and installed Reinteract-0.5.0-python2.5.msi.

From the Start Menu, I chose All Programs, then Reinteract. Nothing, happened.

Does an install log exist somewhere?

I don't want to support multiple distributions of Python. It seems to work fine for me with the python.org version of Python 2.5 on Windows XP, both in standard and non-standard locations.

To debug your problem, what you can do is open a console window and then run:

<install_location>/bin/Reinteract.exe

Hopefully that will give you some informative failure message; but unless the Panda3D install is highly compatible with the standard install, there's a lot of possible things that could be going wrong.
